Taiwan Street Arts

MILKFISH MAN

Dressed like the classic Taiwanese “tough guy”, with his floral shirt and blue and white slippers, Milkfish Man, a famed graphic designer, visual artist, and the owner of two bookstores, will leave a unique impression – and not just with his unique personal style. Growing up surrounded by Taiwanese culture, he draws upon the common sights of Taiwanese daily life in his art and designs, from TV advertisements to flyers to graffiti. The special touch that Milkfish Man adds showcases something within Taiwan’s distinct cultural character. Now, as the designer of rock band Sorry Youth’s album cover and the 4th member of the band – albeit as the member in charge of the bubble machine during performances – Milkfish Man and his quirky, somewhat eccentric work are ready to show off Taiwan!
